My name is James Howie and I am a Freelance Graphic Designer who is currently living and working in Lincoln, Lincolnshire.

After graduating from the University of Cumbria with a 2:1 degree in graphic design I started working as a freelance graphic designer and at the beginning of 2015 my business was formally known as Howiesgraphics. This was decided as part of a Young Rural Entrepreneurs Scheme at the Allendale Forge Studios in Northumberland.

Since then I have been offering a professional design service at an affordable price. To support my clients by interpreting their visions and delivering print-ready artwork. From logos and business cards to large format roller banners.

I have a huge respect for musicians and the music that they create. Whenever I get the chance I like to support the artists and give them the recognition they deserve.

Along with my interest of listening to music I also play three instruments. These are the trumpet, piano and guitar. This explains my surprising range of musical taste which spans from classical to heavy metal.

My digital camera is rarely in the house because I seize every possible opportunity to learn. Constantly testing camera settings, changing perspectives and experimenting with composition.

Each week I get involved in activities around my local community and surrounding area. Keeping myself active by playing badminton, tennis, indoor carpet bowls and testing my general knowledge at the pub quiz!

Society6 is an online store that creates products using the artwork supplied by artists and designers (like me!)
